Paul Wilson

Our Divorce and Family Law consultant is dually qualified, both a solicitor (England and Wales) and attorney at law (Trinidad).  He earned his BA in French and Spanish before achieving his LLB (Hons) from the University of London.

Paul practised in Trinidad for some years before relocating to the UK where he qualified as a solicitor specialising in divorce and family law and now has over 17 years experience.  Initially Paul worked at regional law firms gaining wide experience in family law and divorce before moving on to a London law firm which further enhanced his experience.  Paul keenly encourages a conciliatory approach initially in order to facilitate early settlement.  However he can be a tenacious opponent when negotiating the best settlement for his clients.

Paul is a member of Resolution, the family law organisation which encourages a non-confrontational approach to family law and divorce disputes and also has memberships with BILA, the British Italian Law Association, and BSLA, the British Spanish Law Association.  He is a trustee of East Herts YMCA and a primary school Governor.

In his spare time Paul enjoys running and is a member of a local running club.  He speaks French and Spanish and is learning Italian.
